Milka is a unique boutique experience in the heart of the Julian Alps. This pristine Alpine backdrop was an opportunity for the team of enthusiastic young professionals to take on the challenge of creating and sharing the finest encounter with Slovene cuisine & culture.
Our collective experiences have been harnessed around the world and are expressed through our unique take on design, gastronomy & service.

Welcome to Milka
Inspiration for our food took root in the local environment. A lot of thought went into designing each dish, to ensure every bite is a delectable memory.
A magical experience! The room itself was a delight with an incredible view. But the dining? Beyond words. It’s easily deserving of 2, if not 3, Michelin stars. One of the finest gastronomic experiences we’ve ever had, complemented by impeccable service that was both charming and professional. We left in awe. Highly recommended!
Čarobna izkušnja! Sama soba nas je navdušila z neverjetnim razgledom. Toda jedilnica? Onkraj besed. Zlahka si zasluži 2, če ne 3 Michelinove zvezdice. Ena najboljših gastronomskih izkušenj, ki smo jih kdaj imeli, dopolnjena z brezhibno postrežbo, ki je bila hkrati očarljiva in profesionalna. Odšli smo osupli. Zelo priporočljivo!

Outstanding accommodation. No detail unattended. Remarkable commitment to detail, design, comfort, and aesthetics. The restaurant is 3 star Michelin in my view. Great people all service minded.
Izjemna namestitev. Nobena podrobnost ostane neopažena. Izjemna predanost detajlom, dizajnu, udobju in estetiki. Restavracija ima po mojem mnenju 3 Michelinove zvezdice. Odlični ljudje, ki so naklonjeni storitvam.

We were very happy with the place but especially with the service!
I had the luxury of staying at Boutique Hotel Milka for an entire week during a conference in Kranska Gora. From the hotel it was easy to walk to town (15-20 minutes) along the paved sidewalk next to the road or using the trail next to the river. Between the gorgeous rooms (with spectacular views), the attentive staff, and amazing breakfasts, I would return to Slovenia just to stay here again.
Boutique Hotelu Milka sem si privoščil razkošje bivanja cel teden med konferenco v Kranski Gori. Od hotela je bilo enostavno hoditi do mesta (15-20 minut) po asfaltiranem pločniku ob cesti ali po poti ob reki. Zaradi čudovite sobe (s spektakularnimi razgledi), pozornega osebja in neverjetnih zajtrkob bi se vrnil v Slovenijo, samo da bi spet bival tukaj.

I really recommend this piace! Stunning landscape over the mountains and lake!! The perfect place for the perfect honeymoon and romantic days. Our room was excellently decorated in every details. Really good bath products.

The hotel is designed to perfection with thought put into every last detail. The staff is warm, engaging, and personable and all seem to very much enjoy their jobs. The restaurant is exceptional by global standards and is worth a special trip itself.
Hotel je zasnovan do popolnosti s premislekom v vsaki podrobnosti. Osebje je toplo in prijazno in zdi se, da vsi zelo uživajo v svojem delu. Restavracija je izjemna po svetovnih merilih in vredna posebnega izleta že sama po sebi.
Cet hôtel est une très belle surprise . Ana est fantastique (ainsi que Dino ) merci à eux pour leur accueil et indications. Le personnel est aux petits soins. Le petit déjeuner est bon et assez copieux. Ils ont une approche éco bio tant au niveau alimentaire que pour les cosmétiques et construction. Malheureusement nous n avons pas pu tester leur restaurant car , étant ouvert à tous, il était complet à notre arrivée et fermé le lendemain. Il y a beaucoup de restaurants à 20 mn à pieds au centre du village. Nous recommandons cet hôtel . L emplacement est juste magnifique et idéal : seule la route les sépare du fameux lac de jasna sur lequel on a de magnifiques vues.
Ta hotel je zelo lepo presenečenje. Ana je fantastična (tako kot Dino) hvala za dobrodošlico in navodila. Osebje je skrbno. Zajtrk je dober in precej obilen. Imajo eko-organski pristop tako pri hrani kot kozmetiki in gradnji. Na žalost nismo mogli poskusiti njihove restavracije, ker je bila odprta za vse, ko smo prispeli, je bila polna in naslednji dan zaprta. V središču vasi je v 20 minutah hoje veliko restavracij. Priporočamo ta hotel. Lokacija je naravnost veličastna in idealna: le cesta jih loči od znamenitega jezera Jasna, nad katerim se nam odprejo čudoviti razgledi.
This hotel is a very nice surprise. Ana is fantastic (as well as Dino) thanks to them for their welcome and directions. The staff is caring. The breakfast is good and quite plentiful. They have an eco-organic approach both in terms of food and cosmetics and construction. Unfortunately we were unable to try their restaurant because, being open to everyone, it was full when we arrived and closed the next day. There are many restaurants within 20 mins walk in the center of the village. We recommend this hotel. The location is just magnificent and ideal: only the road separates them from the famous Jasna Lake, over which we have magnificent views.
Beautiful hotel and the restaurant and the best tasting menu I have had in years and far better than the vast majority of options in New York. 10/10 experience.
