Booking

You can reserve a room by:

  • calling us during our office hours and book directly with one of our staff +386 (0)59 77 95 95.
  • going to our website and choose a room of your liking and go ahead with the reservation system, or
  • going to various booking platforms and book through them.

Walk in guests are welcome, but rooms are subject to availability.

Cancelation policy

Any cancellations or amendments to the reservation must be made no later than 12 noon (CET) 14 days before arrival, to avoid a one night’s accommodation charge. Non arrival charge is equal to the first night’s accommodation.

Check-in & Check-out

Guaranteed check-in is from 3pm onwards. Check-out time is noon (12am). Staying in room past check-out hour may incur additional half day or full day charges. Please check with Reception about extending your stay past the check-out hour.

Payment methods

We accept cash, prepayments via bank transfer and credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and Maestro.

Reception Hours

Reception is open between 7am – 11pm every day. Should your check-in our check-out fall outside these hours, please communicate your ETA with one of our team members ahead of time.

Transportation

We can provide a dedicated car service, should you need it. Closest airports are Klagenfurt and Ljubljana airport, both approximately 1 hour away. Other major airports like Venice and Zagreb are within 3 hours away. Contact us at hello@hotelmilka.si for detailed services and prices.

Restaurant

  • Breakfast is served daily from 7:30am until 10:30am.
  • Lunch is available on Sat from 12am until 1:30pm.
  • Dinner is available Wed thru Sat from 6pm until 7:30pm.

We highly encourage our patrons to reserve a table for both dinner and lunch well ahead of time as we are a popular dining destination. Please reach out if you would like to book a table.

Dietary Restriction & Intolerances

Please communicate all dietary restrictions or other intolerances at the point of booking for all parties involved. Due to remoteness of our hotel & restaurant and the fresh ingredients we receive daily we can only accommodate dietary restrictions and intolerances when communicated in advance. We kindly inform you that changes to our dinner set menus are not possible.

Room Service

Room service is available daily from 7am until 10pm. Outside the restaurant’s operating times, we only serve set menu items, which can be found inside the room folders. Menu may change due to availability and seasonality of the ingredients. Please call reception to make an order.

Sauna & Massage

Our in-house dry or Finnish sauna is available to registered guests free of charge. Sauna is open daily between 10am and 10pm and it accommodates 2 persons. 1-hour slots must be pre-booked. Please speak to Reception to reserve your sauna time slot.

Massages can be arranged in your rooms by our carefully selected outside masseuses. Please speak to Reception if you would like to book a massage. We cannot guarantee last minute availability.

Activities

A wide range of winter and summer activities can be arranged. Please inquire at Reception should you want to reserve a guided activity during your stay. All activities are subject to availability and weather conditions. During peak summer months we advise to reserve an activity ahead of time.

Incidentals

Mini bar charges and other incidentals will be charged at check-out. Guests’ pre-authorisation details can be used to cover for these incidentals post check-out, should you opt for a contactless check-out.

Smoking

Please note that we are a non-smoking hotel, however smoking is allowed in external areas of the hotel. Guests found in the act of or with evidence of smoking in the hotel guest room will incur a 250€ fine per occurrence.

Pets

Due to the limited number of rooms, we can only accept dogs in one room – dogs weighing 15 kg or less are welcome in Rock Suite.

Damage & Guest’s Responsibilities

Registered guests will be held responsible for any missing or damaged items in their hotel room or any internal or external areas of the hotel. This liability extends to both registered guests and their visitors.

Guest should ensure that their hotel room door is properly secure at all times. Boutique Hotel & Restaurant Milka cannot be held responsible for any personal items and valuables left in guest rooms. In room safes are provided and recommended for guest’s use.

DIETARY RESTRICTIONS AND ALLERGIES

Please let us know of any dietary restrictions and allergies that apply to you and/or your party before confirming your reservation. We are unable to accommodate any allergies or restrictions not communicated to us a week before your arrival.

We can accommodate omnivore, vegetarian, and pescatarian diets, however, due to limited produce options, we cannot accommodate vegan, lactose-free diets, and people with celiac conditions. For the vegetarian and pescatarian menu, requests should be made at the point of booking or at least one week prior to your arrival.

MENU CHANGES

Please note that we are a fine dining restaurant only serving tasting menus. All our ingredients have been carefully chosen to provide you with a unique alpine dining experience, so we are kindly informing you that any changes or modifications to the menu are not possible since it would change the overall quality of the dishes.

DELAYS

We kindly ask our guests to arrive at the hour of their reservation and notify us of any potential delays. We will be holding your table for up to 30 minutes after which the table will be given to other interested parties.

 

CANCELLATIONS

You can cancel your reservation through your confirmation email or via telephone up until 48h before your reservation.

LARGE GROUPS

For reservations of more than 6 people, please contact us by phone at +386 59779590 or via our email at restaurant@hotelmilka.si.

CHILDREN

We would like to maximize the dining experience for all the guests therefore we can not accommodate people under the age of 12.

PETS

We do not accept pets inside our restaurant. However, they are allowed in the outdoor dining area kept on leash at all times.

We accept cash and all major credit cards: Visa, Maestro and MasterCard.
