Boutique hotel Milka is a creation of global explorations and strictly defined standards of the industry. Creating an experience that is not only expressed through curated rooms, but through a feeling that lasts from the moment you enter our grounds.
Six individually designed rooms, classified into two categories: three sumptuous Suites ranging in size and amenities on our main floors and three popular Luxury Doubles on the rooftop floor. All rooms offer breathtaking vistas over the lake and the dramatic Julian Alp Massif in the background. They are furnished with great attention to detail according to different themes which reference local environment & culture.
We designed each room with comfort and well-being on our minds and with the intention to create an unforgettable & cosy feeling for all our guests.

All the rooms in our hotel are designed for a double occupancy. We therefore cater primarily to adult guests, however we also welcome teens from ages 12 and onward. Please note that we cannot accommodate more than 2 guests per room except in Cone Luxury Double where an additional bed can be set up. Our beds cannot be separated into twin beds.
The perfect intimate retreat in the Julian Alps, 50m² Garden Suite with a 35m² private terrace featuring an outdoor hot tub and a lush garden. The separate lounge acts as a secluded resting area, offering views and an entrance to the outdoor balcony. To us, this room with all its nooks evokes feelings of discovery, while zen is always flirting through the lushness.
The room features a king size bed, with extended leg room, while the bathroom is equipped with black & white onyx tiles and features a double basin, bidet and a walk-in shower.
Spacious and elegantly decorated with a unique rock that gave this room its name, the 45m² Rock Suite provides comfort and plenty of space to relax. Self standing bathtub is the centrepiece of the room overlooking the lake and the mountains. Small private outdoor patio provides a perfect setting for al fresco aperitivo. To us, this room evokes intimacy and a feeling of a snug warm hug.

Fluidity and open lofty spaces mark our 58m² Alpine Suite. From the moment you enter, the entire room opens up and bathes you in views from all corners, shimmering in stone features. Self standing bathtub, stylish sofa, walk-through wardrobe and a balcony with the broadest viewing angle mark this suite unique. To us, this room is airy & light and it evokes feelings of infinity and utter luxury.
The room features a king size bed, with extended leg room, while the bathroom is equipped with black & white onyx tiles and features a double basin, bidet and a walk-in shower, behind a double glass door.
Pine & Cone Luxury double duo is a play of opposites. A yin & a yang. Pine is 23m² double room featuring an open space bedroom that merges with the bathroom area. There is a double walk-in shower, a tucked away reading nook, electrically dimmable windows and two ceiling windows that expand into two balconies overlooking the mountains and the lake. To us, this room feels like a book worm’s paradise: hours can easily go by unnoticed.

Cone & Pine Luxury double duo is a play of opposites. A yin & a yang. Cone is 30m² double room featuring an open space bedroom that merges with the bathroom area. There is a walk-in shower as well as a self standing bathtub, cosy lounge area, electrically dimmable windows and two ceiling windows that expand into two balconies overlooking the mountains and the lake. To us, this room feels like indulgence and self-pampering all the while having a perfect bird’s eye perspective of the area.
The room features a king size bed, open space bathroom is equipped with black & white onyx tiles and features both a walk-in shower and a self standing bathtub. Extra single bed is already incorporated in this room and can be made if requested.
Our smallest 18m² Luxury double is truly one of a kind. The cinematic panorama follows you at every step and unfolds throughout the day. Elevated double bed hidden behind a thin veil of fabric elegantly closes the bedroom area from the rest of the room. To us, this room has always evoked a feeling of closeness and affection, a place we commonly dubbed the “honeymoon suite”.
The room features a king size bed, self standing bathtub with superb bird’s eye perspective and all the windows in the room are electrically dimmable. The bathroom is equipped with white onyx tiles and features a walk-in shower.
The idea behind all our meals is to provide a unique dining experience. Following this mantra, our breakfasts are served, beautifully presented, mouth-wateringly good and basically a reason to wake up every morning with excitement.
Our bar serves as a pit stop on your way to the restaurant or a distraction on your way to the facilities. It might be small in size but it can deliver a punch.
Refuelling in the comfort of your room is a welcome option we gladly provide.
Finnish sauna for two people is available throughout the day to our overnight guests. Sessions are private and can be booked ahead of time.
The nature surrounding us feels unreal: green, healthy & extremely beautiful. Our activities mimic the environment and hence range from leisurely walk in nature, to healthy sweats and extreme options for those who want to go the extra mile.

We absolutely loved our time at Milka! The location was spectacular, the staff was so incredibly warm, the room was gorgeous and the food was just unbelievable. Definitely recommending to everyone!

Arhitektura hotela, dekoracija sob, majhni detajli, gurmanski zajtrk z lokalnimi izdelki, pogled na jezero in gore, restavracija in postrežba naredijo to neverjetno doživetje.
The Milka was a charming place overlooking Lake Jasna. The view from the room and breakfast table was breathtaking. Hotel amenities were complete. The staff made us felt at home and was always on hand if we had any questions. Will definitely be a destination we would want to return to again and again.
Milka je bila očarljivo mesto s pogledom na jezero Jasna. Pogled iz sobe in zajtrkovalne mize je bil osupljiv. Hotelska ponudba je bila popolna. Osebje je poskrbelo, da smo se počutili kot doma in nam je bilo vedno na voljo, če smo imeli kakršna koli vprašanja. Vsekakor bo to destinacija, kamor se bomo radi vračali znova in znova.
We stayed at Milka near the end of October 2022. The expression “you have one opportunity to make a positive impression held true”-before entering the registration area we were greeted by Ana. She greeted as with energy & enthusiasm showing a keen interest to share all of the interesting facts about Milka & how Milka could help make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is immaculate & comforting. The rooms had everything we would have expected. We had the room with the hot tub – we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a day of walking. View of the alps was very relaxing. The location of the hotel is perfect close to amazing hiking trails & a short walk to restaurants/ski village of Kranjska Gora. The staff are very friendly & will go out of their way to help. We highly recommend Milka as a destination hotel in a beautiful part of the world. Note everyone was able to speak excellent English.
Pri Milki smo bivali proti koncu oktobra 2022. Izraz »imate eno priložnost, da naredite pozitiven vtis« se je držal – pred vstopom v registracijski prostor nas je pozdravila Ana. Pozdravila je z energijo in navdušenjem, ki je kazala veliko zanimanje za delitev vseh zanimivih dejstev o Milki in o tem, kako bi Milka lahko pomagala narediti naše bivanje prijetnejše. Hotel je brezhiben in udoben. Sobe so imele vse, kar smo pričakovali. Imeli smo sobo z masažno kadjo – uživali smo v sprostitvi v masažni kadi po dnevu hoje. Pogled na Alpe je bil zelo sproščujoč. Lokacija hotela je odlična v bližini čudovitih pohodniških poti in kratek sprehod do restavracij/smučarske vasi Kranjska Gora. Osebje je zelo prijazno in se bo potrudilo, da pomaga. Zelo priporočamo Milko kot ciljni hotel v čudovitem delu sveta. Upoštevajte, da so vsi govorili odlično angleško.
Wir haben eine Nacht im Milka Boutique Hotel verbracht und es war ein wunderbares Erlebnis! Der Service war exzellent, die Mitarbeiter sehr engagiert und das Abendessen war ein Genuss. Das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber vom See, sodass wir nach der Sauna uns darin erfrischen konnten. Wir kommen gerne wieder und werden das Hotel auch unseren Freunden weiterempfehlen.
Preživeli smo eno noč v Milka Boutique Hotelu in bila je čudovita izkušnja! Postrežba je bila odlična, osebje zelo privlačno in večerja je bila prava poslastica. Hotel je ravno nasproti jezera, da smo se lahko po savnanju ohladili v njem. Radi bi se vrnili in bomo hotel priporočili svojim prijateljem.
We spent one night at Milka Boutique Hotel and it was a wonderful experience! The service was excellent, the staff very engaging and the dinner was a treat. The hotel is right across from the lake so we could cool off in it after the sauna. We would love to come back and will recommend the hotel to our friends.
We had a wonderful time at Milka. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer. The service provided by Daniella and her colleagues was superb, the hotel itself was lovely and the views from our room were spectacular. We ate in the restaurant and it was one of the best restaurant meals my wife and I have enjoyed, both food and service were of the highest quality. The breakfast was also very good. I would not hesitate to recommend Milka and hope to return at some point.
V Milki smo se imeli čudovito. Edino obžalovali smo, da nismo mogli ostati dlje. Storitve, ki so jih nudili Daniella in njeni sodelavci, so bile odlične, sam hotel je bil čudovit in razgledi iz naše sobe so bili spektakularni. Jedli smo v restavraciji in to je bil eden najboljših restavracijskih obrokov, v katerih sva uživala z ženo, tako hrana kot postrežba sta bili najvišje kakovosti. Tudi zajtrk je bil zelo dober. Brez oklevanja priporočam Milko in upam, da se kdaj vrnem.
Vrhunska izkušnja v enem najlepših hotelov. Krasen ambient in odlična kulinarika. Pristno prijazno osebje, ki se trudi gostu ugoditi v vsem. Zares vredno obiska!

To je bila naša najboljša izkušnja doslej. Lepe, udobne, prostorne in uporabne sobe, hrana (in vino) in postrežba sta bili neverjetni, osebje je zelo strokovno in zelo prijazno. Hotel je tako lep in ponuja čudovit razgled na jezero. Absolutno nepozabno doživetje. Hvala ❤️
Cet hôtel est une très belle surprise . Ana est fantastique (ainsi que Dino ) merci à eux pour leur accueil et indications. Le personnel est aux petits soins. Le petit déjeuner est bon et assez copieux. Ils ont une approche éco bio tant au niveau alimentaire que pour les cosmétiques et construction. Malheureusement nous n avons pas pu tester leur restaurant car , étant ouvert à tous, il était complet à notre arrivée et fermé le lendemain. Il y a beaucoup de restaurants à 20 mn à pieds au centre du village. Nous recommandons cet hôtel . L emplacement est juste magnifique et idéal : seule la route les sépare du fameux lac de jasna sur lequel on a de magnifiques vues.
Ta hotel je zelo lepo presenečenje. Ana je fantastična (tako kot Dino) hvala za dobrodošlico in navodila. Osebje je skrbno. Zajtrk je dober in precej obilen. Imajo eko-organski pristop tako pri hrani kot kozmetiki in gradnji. Na žalost nismo mogli poskusiti njihove restavracije, ker je bila odprta za vse, ko smo prispeli, je bila polna in naslednji dan zaprta. V središču vasi je v 20 minutah hoje veliko restavracij. Priporočamo ta hotel. Lokacija je naravnost veličastna in idealna: le cesta jih loči od znamenitega jezera Jasna, nad katerim se nam odprejo čudoviti razgledi.
This hotel is a very nice surprise. Ana is fantastic (as well as Dino) thanks to them for their welcome and directions. The staff is caring. The breakfast is good and quite plentiful. They have an eco-organic approach both in terms of food and cosmetics and construction. Unfortunately we were unable to try their restaurant because, being open to everyone, it was full when we arrived and closed the next day. There are many restaurants within 20 mins walk in the center of the village. We recommend this hotel. The location is just magnificent and ideal: only the road separates them from the famous Jasna Lake, over which we have magnificent views.
General Manager, Manuel Adrović, brings more than 15 years of experience in hospitality, spanning a variety of hotel concepts and guest experiences. He joined our hotel a little less than two years after its opening and has since been shaping its character with his instinctive sense for guest experience and attentive care for every detail.
